Can I Replace The Funeral Program Template With My Own?
By purchasing our template, a full color background may be included within the lay-out. We also offer some funeral program templates with no background for a simpler presentation. If you want to use your own background for a template, you can do so in a few different ways.
You can purchase any of our ready-made templates and remove our background and replace it with your own. This procedure will require some technical skills, and depending on the software you're using to edit, may not be as quick or easy as one might think. Google docs, Publisher and apple pages is the easiest software to accomplish the background replacement. The procedure is straight-forward and not as cumbersome as doing it in Microsoft Word.
You will receive all 4 lay-outs for the design you’ve chosen within the downloaded zip file. Most people do their edits in word since it is a software almost everyone has installed on their computer. Replacing the background in word, is difficult and will require adjustment and more steps than in publisher, apple pages or google docs.
To replace our template background, you may click on it to select and hit delete on your keyboard to remove. Once it is deleted, you will need to insert your own background into the file and then send the image to the back. Sending it to the back means it will be the bottom layer and will sit behind the already formatted text boxes within the template.
